Yes, I can hear you crying help me lose weight! Let me show you some of the alternative ways that many people never think about! After I helped my mother with her weight loss, many of my friends said to me “help me lose weight too”. In my experience most people want a quick easy solution to lose weight. I wish it was that easy. Losing weight safely requires a lot of persistence and dedication. The good news is that it doesn't have to be hard work. It can be fun :-) I think you will have a better chance of shedding those excess pounds if you find ways that you find enjoyable to lose weight. Nobody likes doing things they don't enjoy, so make it fun. Firstly, Let's examine why you want to lose weight. This can be very motivating. Once you have established these reasons, write them down, put them on your desk. This way you get a constant reminder of why you are doing it and what you stand to gain. Is there any form of exercise that you like doing? Check out our exercise section. Remember, find something you enjoy. Perhaps you don't like exercise at all. Most of us know that we should drink more water than we actually do, but did you know this can actually help you to lose weight? Don't like water? That's ok, I don't either, look into the alternatives here! Do you know how much of your weight is actually made up of water weight? This can make quite a difference when you get on the scales. Unfortunately, calorie counting is important when looking to lose weight. The good news is it doesn't have to be quite as boring, I have put together a guide outlining the easy and quick methods I use to count the calories. Another weight losing method that is growing in popularity is hypnotherapy. Whilst often not as successful used on it's own, it has been shown to greatly improve your chances of success if used alongside your other efforts. Now you have read up to this point, are you thinking, “Can't you help me to lose weight without diets, calorie counting, exercising, drinking water etc etc?”. The answer you will be pleased to know is YES. There are some things you can do that don't involve diet and exercise. One option growing in popularity all the time is the use of appetite suppressants. Appetite suppressants are medications that make the brain think you are not hungry. This can massively reduce your desire to eat. Some appetite suppressants are available over the counter, whilst others need a doctors prescription.
